Traveling with 2 small dogs for 1 night in a brand new, beautiful La Quinta, we found a safe area. the comfy beds and very clean room made for a quiet stay. Helpful, professional staff and a nice, new building. Great location for visiting Padre Island National Seashore and walking distance to restaurants. Cons: Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The whole experience was FINE. The hotel was located not far from shopping centers, and tourist attractions. Affable and amicable staff who were always there to help. The location was particularly good, in a "safer " area! Also, the venue was 3 miles away from Poenisch Park.

The staff were like my personal advisors at the reception; always there for me. the breakfast had me catching a glimpse of American Bank Center events. Safety first with that first aid kit! Very close to the business district. Cons: Can't say I enjoyed the strong smell in the room.
